Avoid displaying candles in strong light for extended periods. Wax softens in temperatures over 80°F. Store in cool, dry place for prolonged use. See "Optimal burning of your candle" in the "Candle and melts safety" section.

It’s very simple. For both jarred candles and wax melts we use 100% soy wax, no additives of any kind.

We use 100% natural fibers, lead-free, and eco-friendly.

Yes, that’s correct! Keeping your wick trimmed is an important part of candle care to ensure a safe, clean and efficient burn. Trimming the wick helps to prevent mushrooming, maintain a steady flame and prevent soot from forming on the jar or nearby surfaces. Additionally, keeping the wick trimmed can also extend the life of your candle and allow it to burn more evenly. It’s a simple but effective step that can greatly enhance your candle-burning experience.

To extinguish the flame, avoid blowing it out as it causes excessive smoke. Use a wick snuffer or a smokeless option or place the fire/heat resistant lid on the candle to suffocate the flame quickly. If blowing out the flame, do it gently.

For the most part, yes. However, I use my judgment on this. If hot temperatures/weather are expected, I try limiting shipping based on conditions. Please be sure to plan on having someone home to accept deliveries (particularly during the summer) to help cut back the risk involved when ordering candles during hot months, I cannot be held liable for melted candles and other wax products.

My aim is for your satisfaction with your purchase. If there is damage upon arrival, please reach out to me through the “Contact Us” form on my website. To help with the process, please keep the original packaging materials.

We hope you understand that we do not offer exchanges or refunds based on fragrance preferences unless there is a defect in the candle. Every nose has its own unique taste, and that’s why we provide fragrance profiles and notes in the product description to help you pick the perfect scent. But, don’t worry, candles make great gifts and maybe someone you know will love the scent you’re not fond of.

Because glass weakens with every use, I do not recommend refilling jars for re-use as a candle. However, they are food grade, so you can use them to store spices, nuts, yogurt… you know where I’m going with this. They can be put to so many uses. Additionally, they are 100% recyclable!

This is a safety issue and any candle maker or retailer will recommend this. Glass gets hot on the bottom as the wick gets near the base. It can cause cracking, breaking, or damage underneath the glass.

We strive to source all our materials, from jars to packaging, within Canada. Currently, approximately 85% of our products are made with materials purchased in Canada.

It’s the natural characteristic of 100% pure soy wax! No additives means some variations in appearance may occur, but it does not affect the burn or quality of the candle.
