To extinguish the flame, avoid blowing it out as it causes excessive smoke. Use a wick snuffer for a smokeless option or place the fire/heat resistant lid on the candle to suffocate the flame quickly. If blowing out the flame, do it gently."
Do you ship any day of the week including weekends?
For the most part, yes. However, I use my judgment on this. If hot temperatures/extreme heat are expected, I try to limit shipping in those conditions. Please be sure to plan on having someone home to accept deliveries (particularly during the summer) to help cut down the risk of your candles sitting on a hot porch for hours/days. Due to the risk involved when ordering candles during hot months, I cannot be held liable for melted candles and other wax products. Even though I insure all of our shipments, melted wax is not covered by FedEx, UPS, etc.
What if an item is defective or damaged as it arrives?
My aim is for your satisfaction with your purchase. If there is damage upon arrival, please reach out to me through the "Contact Us" form on my website. To help with the process, please keep the original packaging materials.
What if I really don't like the fragrance I ordered? Can I return it?
We hope you understand that we do not offer exchanges or refunds based on fragrance preferences unless there is a defect in the candle. Every nose has its own unique taste, and that's why we provide fragrance profiles and notes in the product description to help you pick the perfect scent. But, don't worry, candles make great gifts too! Maybe someone you know will love the scent you're not fond of.
Can I refill or re-use my candle jars when they are empty?
Because glass weakens with every use, I do not recommend refilling jars for re-use as a candle. However, they are food grade, so you can use them to store spices, nuts, yogurt... you know where I'm going with this. They can be put to so many uses. Additionally, they are 100% recyclable!
